The AbbVie Summer Internship Program is open to college students who have completed at least one year of school. Internships are available across biopharmaceutical as well as many other areas of focus.

Students who have a minimum GPA of 3.0 will find internships in their area of interest, including science, engineering, finance, marketing, information technology, business, supply chain and more. In any field, interns will be working with some of the most respected experts in the industry.

Internships are 10-12 weeks in duration and offer challenging work experience in a student's area of study. They will learn through assignments and projects, and also engage in team-based networking and socials. Housing is provided for interns who live more than 40 miles from the internship location and includes shuttle transportation to and from the work site.

AbbVie is a research-based pharmaceutical company that discovers, develops, and markets both biopharmaceuticals and chemically synthesized pharmaceuticals. They have more than 40 medicines on the market, including HIV antivirals. The company was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in North Chicago, Illinois.

The location is usually in ILLINOIS.
