United States Postal Service Summer Intern Program

United States Postal Service Summer Intern Program and Jobs
United States Postal Service (USPS) Summer Intern Program is open to college juniors and seniors who are attending an accredited four-year college or university. Internships are available in areas such as Engineering, Human Resources, Accounting/Finance, Supply, Sales/Marketing, Information Technology, and others.

Internships consist of a 10-week Summer Intern Program where interns work on projects pertaining to their chosen career fields. Candidates may also be required to work across other functional areas in order to increase their level of knowledge, skills, and abilities. Internships can lead to permanent, full-time positions with USPS after graduation.

Students may speak with company recruiters during campus visits which take place throughout the year at campuses around the country. They may also search and apply for positions online.

The United States Postal Service was formed in 1971 as an independent agency of the United States federal government responsible for providing postal service in the United States. It is headquartered in Washington, D.C. and has the largest civilian vehicle fleet in the world with 211,264 vehicles as of 2014.
