Internships are available in the areas of production operations, multimedia, radio, graphics and more. Internships are in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, headquarters of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Applicants must major in the area for which they are applying. For example, a student applying for a radio internship should have a major or minor concentration in communications/journalism or broadcasting.
Applicants who have experience in their area of interest will increase their chances for an internship. They should fully describe in their application any relative experience they have had. Many internships require that interns be able to work flexible hours including weekends and game nights.
No relocation assistance is provided for students residing outside the Pittsburgh area. Students with a strong interest in sports and working within a fast-paced professional sports environment are encouraged to apply.
