DaVita Student Internship Program provides an on-the-job work experience for students interested in careers within the healthcare industry. Internships are available in biomed technician and dialysis patient care technology.

This internship experience is for students who are studying nursing or other medical fields. Candidates must be students who are able to take responsibility, follow procedures, and interact well with other people. Interns will receive comprehensive training in blood, inserting catheters, and be exposed to blood and other bodily fluids.

Interns will work with a professional team of clinicians in dialysis patient care or biomedical equipment technology. Interns who will be successful are those who want to make a positive difference with people who depend on kidney dialysis healthcare treatment.

DaVita Healthcare Partners, Inc. is one of the largest kidney care companies in the United States, with corporate headquarters in Denver, Colorado. Their services include in-center hemodialysis, in-center nocturnal dialysis, peritoneal dialysis, home hemodialysis, vascular access management, and chronic kidney disease education.
