Xcel Energy Internships are available for undergraduate and graduate students. These internships are full-time, paid positions in a variety of disciplines to meet the needs of most students.

Internships are offered in the areas of business, supply chain, engineering, information technology and more. Positions are offered during the summer and require interns to work 35-40 hours per week; students are paid for their work. In addition, students selected for an internship will receive on-the-job-training and exposure to Xcel Energy’s business.


Applicants must be current full-time students pursuing either a Bachelor's or Master's degree at a U.S. accredited college or university. The Fortune 500 company is always looking for bright, energetic students who are interested in a career in the energy industry.
