Fashion Internships in New York City are available to college students interested in a career in the fashion industry. Opportunities are available at several companies ranging from retail fashion stores, boutiques, modeling agencies, and design studios.
Some internship positions are paid and others are unpaid but students may be able to get college credit. Positions range from social media, marketing and branding, public relations and sales positions, to graphic design, writing editorial, assisting on photo shoots, assistant buyers, copywriters, art, participation in trade shows, and much more.
Students must be willing to spend the summer in New York City. Some internships will assist with transportation. Interns need to be self-starters wanting to work in a fast-paced industry. Many internship positions are located within the heart of the fashion district.
