Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company Internship Program allows college students to gain practical work experience in their chosen field while still in school. Internships are offered in engineering, human resources, and information technology.

Internships are 10-12 weeks in duration and are designed to give students meaningful work and the opportunity to participate in real business projects. The experience helps students explore career options and make better career decisions. Many Goodyear interns become permanent Goodyear associates after graduation.

Engineering interns will do research, development engineering and quality, tire technology, global engineering and manufacturing technology, and manufacturing. Human resources interns will gain experience in talent recruitment and management, leadership development, and labor relations. IT interns must be pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering or other Business-related disciplines. All candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to relocate. A grade point average of 3.0 is desired.

The Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company is a tire manufacturing company founded in 1898 and based in Akron, Ohio. Goodyear manufactures tires for automobiles, commercial trucks, light trucks, SUVs, race cars, airplanes, farm equipment and heavy earth-mover machinery.
