WellPoint Internships are designed to give real work experience to college undergraduate and graduate students. Internships are available in the areas of accounting, business, finance, information technology, sales and consulting.

Both full-time and part-time, and paid and unpaid, internships are available. Internships last anywhere from three months during the summer or throughout the school year for part-time internships. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited college or university in the U.S.


WellPoint recruits interns on college campuses throughout the year. Students may talk to a recruiter, or they can search and apply for internships online.

WellPoint, Inc. is one of the largest health benefits companies in the United States. The company was formed in 2004 as the result of a merger between WellPoint Health Networks Inc. and Anthem, Inc. , becoming the nation's leading health benefits company.
