UnitedHealth Group Internships offer paid opportunities for college students to gain business knowledge and leadership skills on the job while still in college. Eligible students must have one year or less to graduate by the start of their internship.

Internships are available at several locations. Internship areas may include accounting, business, health, communications, information technology, marketing, legal and other areas. Students must be enrolled full-time as undergraduates at an accredited U.S. college or university.


Candidates will need to have strong communication skills, a desire to work in a fast-paced environment, and be comfortable working with teams. In addition to a competitive salary, interns will receive training and mentoring from talented and experienced leaders within a large health care industry.

UnitedHealth Group is a health care company headquartered in Minnetonka, Minnesota. It was formed in 1977 and is the parent company to UnitedHealth Care, the largest single health carrier in the U.S.
