Undergraduate students may apply, as well as students who have graduated from college no more than 6 months prior to starting the internship. Some internships require interns to be licensed drivers and have dependable transportation. They must have excellent writing skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Interns may work in the area of Metro, Sports, Business, Features, Arts & Entertainment, Editorial Pages, Washington bureau, Photography, Design, Graphics, Data and latimes.com.
