Los Angeles Times Internship Programs
Los Angeles Times Internship Programs offer an exciting opportunity for journalism students who want experience with a big city newspaper. This is a paid internship that is offered every summer from June to August.
Undergraduate students may apply, as well as students who have graduated from college no more than 6 months prior to starting the internship. Some internships require interns to be licensed drivers and have dependable transportation. They must have excellent writing skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
The L.A. Times offers many internships throughout their newspaper. Interns may work in the area of Metro, Sports, Business, Features, Arts & Entertainment, Editorial Pages, Washington bureau, Photography, Design, Graphics, Data and latimes.com. To apply, students must submit an application, cover letter or autobiography, resume, work samples and references.
