NCAA Ethnic Minority and Women's Internship

NCAA InternshipsNCAA Ethnic Minority and Women's Internship offers an opportunity for a minority, female college student to be chosen for a unique two-year internship program. The program will focus primarily on compliance, athletic communications and special events for The Rensselaer Athletics Department and its intercollegiate varsity programs.

This internship is for a student who has experience in communications and media relations in a sports environment. The intern will be part of a senior leadership team with responsibility for media relations, website maintenance, pre- and post-game interviews, and more to support the Athletic Communication team.

In addition, the intern will attend briefings, meetings with head coaches, and work regularly with 5 television stations on coverage of Rensselaer Athletics. The student chosen for the position must be an excellent writer and be familiar with desktop publishing. They will work directly with coaches, the Director of Marketing and Promotions, and other staff involved with athletic communications.
