Coalition for Smarter Growth Internships

Coalition for Smarter Growth InternshipsCoalition for Smarter Growth Internships provides a rich work experience for college students interested in public policy and advocacy. The internship is unpaid but provides a transportation stipend.

Interested students must be able to devote 18 hours each week to their internship. Internships last an entire semester and give students hands-on experience in working with public officials, organizing campaigns, talking to people in the community and at public meetings. They may also participate in communicating through blogs and the website.

Students will have direct contact with experienced staff members throughout the internship who will teach them how to manage an educational program. To apply, students can complete an online application and include a cover letter and writing samples.
