ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center Internships

ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center Internships and JobsECHO Internships offer college students an opportunity to work at the ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center in Burlington, Vermont. Internships are a semester in length and offered in the fall, spring and summer.

Students will find internships in the areas of Education, Animal Care, Private Events and Guest Services, Marketing and Social Media, Development and Information Technology. Students will work an average of 15-20 hours a week. Some internships are paid and others are for college credit.


Animal care interns will learn how to care for all kinds of animals in the Animal Care & Facilities department. Development interns will assist with fundraising. Event management interns will work at the front desk, gift shop and help organize ECHO events. Information technology interns will provide assistance in maintaining servers and networking hardware.

ECHO Lake Aquarium and Science Center was founded in 2003 and has over 70 species of fish, amphibians, invertebrates, and reptiles. The facility is located at the Leahy Center for Lake Champlain.

The location is usually in VERMONT.
