The Cleveland Foundation Summer Internships
The Cleveland Foundation Summer Internships offer paid summer internships for undergraduate and graduate students, as well as recent graduates, to work in one of Cleveland's non-profit organizations for 11 weeks. Students must have an interest in a career in non-profit or public organizations.
The internships are from June to August. Eligible students must be either residents of Cleveland or attending a college or university in the greater Cleveland area. Students must also be a college junior or senior in fall of the current year, a graduate student, or a recent college graduate. Each organization hiring an intern will provide them with a supervisor who will mentor them and provide helpful feedback that will increase their skills and provide a real-life experience in the non-profit or private sector.
The internship is sponsored by The Cleveland Foundation. The non-profit, charitable organization was founded in 1914 and is supported by donations from corporations, organizations and private donors. The organization funds programs that benefit the community and its citizens.
In addition to funding internships, the foundation also awards grants to support projects in healthcare, the arts, neighborhoods, schools, and economic development for both Cleveland and the surrounding areas.
The location is usually in OHIO.
