Multicultural Advertising Intern Program is a paid, full-time summer internship for college students pursuing a career in advertising. Positions are offered at advertising agencies across the U.S.

Interns will receive first-hand experience is all the disciplines of the advertising industry, including copywriting, art direction, public relations, media planning and buying, account planning and management, and much more. The internship includes not only work experience but participation in workshops and seminars that will enhance the student's knowledge and understanding in the field of advertising.


Eligible students must be Asian/Asian American, Native Hawaiian or Pacific Islander, Hispanic/Latino, Black/African American, American Indian or Alaska Native, Multiracial or Multiethnic. They must also be a junior, senior or graduate student with a grade point average of 3.0 or above.

The internship is sponsored by the American Association of Advertising Agencies, a national trade association for advertising agencies around the country. The purpose of the scholarship is to create more diversity among the country’s advertising agencies and give multicultural students an opportunity to pursue a career in advertising.
