The position is ideal for students in an approved Alcohol and Drug Counseling program, requiring a 880-hour internship to become Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors. Interns will engage in hands-on experiences, practicing the 12 core functions of Alcohol and Drug Counseling alongside a licensed professional, including comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, and group therapy.
