This job opportunity at Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is for a summer internship in the Strategic Military Space Division. They are seeking a student Optical Engineer with experience in radiometric analysis, proficiency in MatLab, familiarity with MathCad, and experience in optical design (Zemax, Code V, or OSLO) and optical laboratory work. The internship runs from summer 2024 and requires the applicant to be a U.S. Citizen or lawful permanent resident, with a preferred GPA of 3.5. SDL offers a supportive environment with training, networking, and the chance to work on cutting-edge technologies for NASA, DoD, and intelligence programs.
