Casa de Esperanza Internship Program

Casa-de-Esperanza-Hands-of-Hope-Internship-Program
Casa de Esperanza Internship Program is a one-year commitment for candidates who have a desire to help abused, neglected and HIV positive children. The internship program, Hands of Hope, is open to recent college graduates and other highly-qualified young adults throughout the U.S.

Candidates who qualify for an internship will live and work with children in agency foster homes. Applicants must be able to commit to one year for the internship. Internship responsibilities will include caring for children on a daily basis, including coordinating medical appointments and therapy sessions. Interns will work with caseworkers, psychological staff and community volunteers to deliver a high level of service to vulnerable children.

Applicants must be 21 years old or older with a college degree. Other requirements include the ability to interact positively with others, patience and flexibility, and a valid U.S. driver's license. Candidates must also be in good health with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds.



Casa de Esperanze de los Ninos is a safe place for children who are in crisis. Ideal internship candidates will be those who are willing to work with children under the age of six. They must also be committed to the safety of the children and for ensuring their daily needs are met. Internship benefits include housing, a monthly stipend, health insurance and other benefits.
