HCA Healthcare Internships are designed to give undergraduates a wide range of both clinical and non-clinical career experiences. Students in healthcare and other fields of interest will receive valuable on-the-job training, opportunities to network, and will grow personally and professionally as they gain real-world, life skills for the future.

Internship opportunities are available in the fields of healthcare, information technology, financial services, engineering, tax, audit, and more. HCA provides resources and opportunities to hone professional skills within the healthcare field and in other non-clinical areas of interest.

HCA is also developing a Sarah Cannon Internship Program for high-quality students who are entering their final year of study; students can be working on their undergraduate or graduate degree. The program is a minimum of 12 weeks in the summer and can be part-time, or full-time. The purpose of this program is to provide valuable skills to outstanding students who will have the opportunity to become HCA colleagues upon graduation.



Hospital Corporation of America (HCA) is one of the nation’s leading providers of healthcare services. Their locally managed facilities include 174 hospitals and 119 freestanding surgery centers located in 20 U.S. states and in the United Kingdom. They were founded in 1968 and are headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
