Alpha Genesis Internship Programs are open to college students pursuing degrees in the biological sciences and veterinary medicine. Internships are offered during the summer months.

Two programs are available. The Pre-Baccalaureate Summer Training Program is for undergraduates in the biological sciences who plan to pursue a career in research. This internship program gives students the opportunity to work side-by-side with AGI scientists and offers many opportunities in scientific research.

The Summer Veterinary Program is a three-month internship that provides students with the opportunity to work closely with AGI veterinarians in the Department of Veterinary Medicine. Students gain practical experience in clinical practice techniques.
Veterinary Internships

Alpha Genesis Inc. is a bio-research services company that provides the highest quality nonhuman primate products and research services world-wide. Their specialties are primate research, housing and breeding, and primate products. The company was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in South Carolina.

Areas of study can include chemistry, biology, engineering, finance, marketing, human resources, information technology, sales, animal science, international business, and statistics. The internships are 10-12 weeks in duration and are paid internships. Students who live outside the internship area may also receive a stipend for housing and transportation. Eli Lilly recruits students for internships through campus visits in the Fall and Spring. In addition,the company works with a number of career-specific professional organizations, such as the Society of Women Engineers and the National Association of Black Accountants, and other professional organizations to identify outstanding students for internships.
