Mastercard Internships are offered to students pursuing Bachelor's degrees, Master's degrees or MBA's. Summer internships are available in both financial and non-finance related areas.

Summer internships run from the beginning of June to the middle of August. Candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or above in order to apply. They must also major in the internship area, have excellent communication skills, be able to work on multiple projects concurrently, and be willing to complete a required online assessment in order to be considered for an internship opportunity.

Positions are open to undergraduate students entering their senior or junior year, and graduate students. Opportunities are offered in accounting and finance, human resources, technology, marketing, communications, and more. All positions are based in O’Fallon, MO at MasterCard’s Operations & Technology Headquarters.

Mastercard was founded in 1966 as Interbank Card Association. Global headquarters are in New York, and Operations & Technology are headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Mastercard Worldwide has been a publicly traded company since 2006.

The location is usually in MISSOURI.
