PRIME Internship Program is open to high school juniors and seniors who want a professional internship in an organization in their field of interest. Students should APPLY NOW for a summer internship. The program is for students from the Arlington Virginia Public School System.

The internship program lasts four weeks during the summer and is unpaid; interns can receive high school or college credit. Interns are assigned to a professional organization where they gain first-hand knowledge and skills that are required in the professional world within their area of interest.

Intern candidates will be required to interview for an internship position; sample questions are posted on the PRIME web site to help prepare applicants for the interview process. Interns will be expected to work a total of 140 hours during the four-week internship.

Professional Related Intern/Mentorship Experience (PRIME) is a program of the Arlington Public Schools in Arlington, Virginia, that serves over 1,100 students a day. The PRIME internship program is designed for gifted students.

The location is usually in VIRGINIA.
