911 Memorial Internships are offered to undergraduate and graduate students. Both part-time and full-time internships are available.

Internships are 10 weeks long and take place during the summer from June to August. Many internships are available, including communications, special events, institutional advancement, oral history, memorial exhibition, and working in the office of the president/CEO. Internship positions are paid.

Applicants must have good computer skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, strong research and organizational skills, and be in a position to work throughout the summer. Students may review available positions online and apply online. A cover letter and resume will be required.

The 911 Memorial was created to remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks in New York on September 11, 2001. In the first year of the opening of the National September 11 Memorial at the World Trade Center, 4 million visitors came. Every year, the Memorial has visitors from the U.S. and 170 countries around the world.

The location is usually in NEW YORK.
