Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Internships
Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Internships are open to both undergraduate and graduate students who are attending an accredited college or university. Eligibility includes both part-time and full-time students.

This internship is of particular interest to students pursuing careers within nonprofit associations or careers related to public health, but other majors are also eligible to apply. Preference is given to junior and senior applicants. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, strong interpersonal skills, and experience using the Internet for research.

Internships are available in a wide area of interests, including member services, governmental relations, biomedical, Information Technology and health sciences research. Many interns have had the opportunity to become full-time employees after completing college.

The Association of American Medical Colleges is a not-for-profit association representing 145 accredited U.S. and 17 accredited Canadian medical schools; 400 major teaching hospitals and health systems, including 51 Department of Veterans Affairs medical centers; and 90 academic and scientific societies. It was founded in 1876 and is based in Washington, D.C.
