The Guggenheim Museum Internship in New York is an opportunity for college students to explore career options in the arts and museum fields. Internships are open to college juniors and seniors, recent graduates, graduate and postgraduate students.

Internships are available in many departments that can include exhibit design, curator, art services and preparation, business development, special events, finance, communications, graphic design, human resources, information technology and more. Internships are offered in the Spring, Summer and Fall and are 3 months in duration.


Interns in the Spring and Fall work two days per week. Summer interns work 4-5 days a week. Through the Hilla von Rebay Foundation, 13 interns will be selected to receive $1,000 stipends. Housing is not included, but the Museum will help interns locate housing in New York City.

The Guggenheim Museum is a prestigious art museum located in Manhattan in New York City. It was established by the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation in 1939 and is renowned for its collection of Impressionist, Post-Impressionist, early Modern and contemporary art exhibits.
