Paid internships are offered in a variety of areas, including Research and Development, Marketing, Information Systems, Manufacturing and others. The internship program has internship positions at locations in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Applicants must be 18 years old or older and current full-time college students. They must be pursuing a degree course and have completed one year of study at the time they apply.

Altria Group Summer Internship Program

Altria Group Summer Internship Program offers college students paid work assignments with any one of several companies. Internships are available in accounting, business, finance, engineering, marketing, management and information technology. Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a four-year college or university pursuing a degree and have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Internships are 12 weeks in duration. Interns work 40 hours a week throughout their internship. Students may apply for an internship during their sophomore or junior year of college.

Office of Management and Budget Internships

Office of Management and Budget Internships are available to graduate-level students who are currently pursuing a Masters degree in public policy, public administration, business, economics, or a related field. The internship is unpaid. Internships can run from three months during the summer to a total of 12 months. Positions vary and include internships within several departments. This may include financial management, policy, information technology, personnel, legal and more. Some internships, such as those within the health office, may accept applications throughout the year on a rolling basis.

Internships are offered during the summer and last anywhere from 3 to 9 months. Interns receive hands-on training and experience within their field of study. CenturyLink Internships provide on-the-job-training for college students across many disciplines. Opportunities are available for both undergraduate or graduate students. Positions usually require applicants to be juniors or seniors in college before applying. Students majoring in finance and accounting, marketing, technology and more are encouraged to apply. Most positions are unpaid and for experience only and possible college credit. The internship program is designed to provide high-potential students with exposure to CenturyLink's business and management style and their customers. The work experience will increase their skills and also their potential to become a full-time employee after graduation.

Interns will have the opportunity to work with more experienced engineers on projects that are important to the company.
