The Washington Internship Experience

The Washington Workshops Foundation presents the only fully supervised summer internship program for high school students in Washington D.C. Placements are available in U.S. Congressional offices, public policy offices, NGOs and international organizations. Program included placement, transportation, and room & board.

Students are housed at a nearby college campus with charter bus transportation arranged each day to and from their offices in Washington, DC. The students are supervised throughout the program by a resident staff providing continuous attention and mentoring. The Washington Workshops also presents academic and leadership training tutorials to prepare students for their office responsibilities and ensure their academic development.
