Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) Internship

Internships
at the Congressional Youth Leadership Council (CYLC) provide undergraduate
sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students with a great
opportunity to gain leadership skills in a working environment.
Positions
at CYLC are available year-round. Interns work from 20 to 40 hours
per week; scheduling is generally flexible. All interns are paid
a stipend of $10.00 per hour. Additionally, academic credit can
be arranged with your school. Applicants should have a strong
interest in political science, public policy and education.
Intern responsibilities
include: Assisting in conference and curriculum development through
researching and writing educational activities and materials for
a variety of programs. This entails researching background information
for role-plays and simulations in the areas of international relations,
foreign policy, national security, law and health care.
Applicants
should be undergraduate or graduate students with excellent research
and writing skills. Must have a background and/or interest in
education, politics/public policy, international relations and
leadership.
