The US Foods Summer Internship Program consists of full-time paid positions (40 hours per week from May - August) with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time position after graduation. Applicants must be enrolled in school during the time of the internship.

Candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in the area of the internship. Students currently between their Junior and Senior years or between their 1st and 2nd years of graduate school will be considered for internships. Summer internships are paid, but interns must have a regular, reliable method of transportation to commute to US Foods’ location.
Interns work on real projects that impact business and are matched with a manager who will meet with them on a regular basis and provide direction on assignments and performance feedback. Interns will also have a mentor who will be available to offer day-to-day guidance and support throughout the internship. The Summer Internship Program offers opportunities in many disciplines, including accounting and finance, business analysis, marketing, information technology, sales, and many more.



US Foods is one of the largest food service distributors headquartered in Rosemont, Illinois. The company offers more than 350,000 national brand products and its own exclusive brand items, ranging from fresh meats and produce to prepackaged and frozen foods. The Fortune 150 company was founded in 1989.
