Transamerica Internships are offered to college students to give them hands-on experience in a real-world business environment. Summer internships are available in a wide range of disciplines.

Summer internship positions are designed for candidates pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees. Internships can be on a part-time or full-time basis and range from 3 months to 12 months in length. Students may apply for any internship for which they feel they qualify. Priority is given to students who major in a financial or business-related field.

Transamerica Corporation is an insurance and investment company offering life and supplemental health insurance, investments, and retirement services. The company was founded in 1928 and is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. They also have offices in Denver, Colorado; and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with affiliated offices located throughout the United States.

Interns will be selected based on academic achievements, initiative, leadership, extracurricular activities and communication skills. Students must return to college after their internship; the company will not employ students as interns who will graduate prior to the internship.
