Applicants must be full-time students enrolled in an accredited college or university. Candidates must have a GPA of 2.5 or above in order to apply. Summer internships may be available in finance, marketing, technical, legal, engineering, communications, and more.

Transamerica Internships

Transamerica Internships are offered to college students to give them hands-on experience in a real-world business environment. Summer internships are available in a wide range of disciplines. Summer internship positions are designed for candidates pursuing undergraduate or graduate degrees. Internships can be on a part-time or full-time basis and range from 3 months to 12 months in length. Students may apply for any internship for which they feel they qualify. Priority is given to students who major in a financial or business-related field.

NOAA Internships

NOAA Internships are offered through the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, a scientific agency within the United States Department of Commerce. Summer internships are available to both undergraduate and graduate students, and high school students. The NOAA Chesapeake Bay Office, in partnership with the Chesapeake Research Consortium, offers several paid summer internships that focus on scientific field research to resource management and policy. It is for college-level students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year of undergraduate study.

Wildlife Prairie Park Internships

Wildlife Prairie Park Internships offer paid, summer work opportunities for college students who love working outdoors. Internships are paid and also offer housing. Summer internships give students an opportunity to work with a variety of education animals (birds of prey, reptiles, and small mammals) during their internship program. Interns work 40 hours a week minimum, from May - August. Interns are also responsible for assisting staff with programming, events, home school, summer programming, boy scouts/girl scouts merit badge days and day camps.

The Academy Gold Talent Development and Inclusion Program

The Academy Gold Talent Development and Inclusion Program offers summer internships to college students who have a strong interest in film making and the motion picture industry. Applicants must be college students attending an accredited undergraduate or graduate program. Candidates must have a GPA of 3.0 or above. They must also have strong written, verbal and problem-solving skills. Summer Interns will work part-time, up to 28 hours per week. They will gain much knowledge about the motion picture industry by working on projects and other activities related to student development and film.

IRS Student Internships

IRS Student Internships offer a paid summer work experience program for all college students enrolled in a master’s program and majoring in accounting. Interns will work in the company's Large Business and International Division. During the internship, students will work a full 40-hour week with pay, including overtime pay. The schedule is flexible and gives interns several schedule choices. Interns will be given meaningful work in the area of taxes for corporations whose assets are more than $10 million. To qualify for an internship, students must have and maintain a grade point average of 3.0 or above.
