Candidates for summer internships must have a grade point average of 3.25 for undergraduates and 3.5 for graduate students. They do not have to major in art history. Internships are offered in the following departments: Arts and Programs, Exhibition and Design, Collection Management (includes photography and conservation), and External Affairs (communications, media relations, web design).


Prince William County Internships

Prince William County Internships are available to students who are at least 18 years of age and juniors or seniors in college. Applicants must be in good academic standing and of good moral character.

Candidates may obtain credit hours for this internship as it is an unpaid summer internship. To apply, students must submit a completed application, cover letter, grade transcript, and a letter of recommendation from a college faculty member or Department Chair. Any student who applies cannot be convicted of any felony or misdemeanor of any serious nature.
