Harper's Magazine Internships offers summer internships, as well as internships in the Fall and Spring. Internships are offered to college students and college graduates in the areas of editorial and art.

Editorial Interns work on a full-time, unpaid basis for three to five months. Summer internships run from June to August. Interns work closely with an editor on one magazine section and receive practical experience in critical reading and analysis, research, fact checking, and the general workings of a national magazine.

Art interns work on a part-time, unpaid basis for three to five months, working with freelance artists. Art interns will receive practical experience in electronic page layout, color separation, art and photo research, and will learn the general workings of the art department of a national magazine.

Applicants may download the application online, or they may call to have an application mailed to them.
