Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles Internship Programs is an opportunity for law students to gain first-hand knowledge and earn course credit through voluntary service to the Superior Court of California. Internships are offered in several areas of law.

Working within the Court creates opportunities for networking, enhances a resume, and provides possible job leads and knowledge of the judicial process. Interns may choose to work in areas that include Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) to assist Juvenile Court Judges in Dependency cases; Court Operation Support Internship (COSI) program that offers students hands-on experience in Court administration and Court operations; or the Domestic Violence Project.
Other internship programs include The Judicial Operation Internship (JOI) program for law students who want more hands-on experience in the major Court-support operation; or the Paralegal Internship for students who are currently enrolled in paralegal schools, colleges and universities throughout LA County.

Prerequisites for each internship vary. Students are encouraged to read internship job listings carefully to ensure a good match for their interest as well as qualifications for the internship.

The location is usually in CALIFORNIA.
