Huntington Ingalls Industries Internships

Huntington Ingalls Industries Internships are open to college students enrolled in Bachelor or Master’s degree programs. Internships are offered in the areas of Business, Computer Science, Engineering, and Information Technology. Internships are offered during the summer for 10 weeks, but eligible students must submit their applications in February. All applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or above, be at least 18 years old, be a U.S. citizen, and agree to work 40 hours per week during the internship. Applicants will be required to submit to a background check, hair follicle and drug screen test.

Spirit Aerosystems Internships

Spirit Aerosystems Internships offers internships to college students who are currently enrolled at an accredited college or university. Candidates must be full-time students in their junior or senior year. Some internship positions may accept sophomore. Applicants are required to have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Internships are offered in business, logistics, information technology, engineering, program management and more. Internships allow students to gain skills, leadership and hands-on experience while exploring careers in their field of study. Internships run from the beginning of June until the beginning of August.

The T. Howard Foundation Internship offers a paid internship experience for college sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students. The internships are with some of the largest media companies in the world. Internships are offered at media companies in New York, Los Angeles, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas and Miami. They begin with a 2.5 day orientation and include pay, career coaching, mentoring, and the opportunity to work within some of world's largest companies in the media and entertainment industry.

The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Internship hires qualified students who will assist in general production, script, control room operations, music, research, talent, and various other departments within the show's production. Students pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at an Accredited Institution may apply. All applicants must be at least a sophomore in college and also have a GPA of 3.0 or above. Candidates must be 18 years old or older for this internship. The internship is at Rockefeller Plaza in New York City; students selected for the internship must be able to work in NYC and commit to working at least 2-3 days per week.

Supreme Court Internship Program

Supreme Court Internship Program provides students with a substantial working knowledge of the role, functions, and history of the Supreme Court of the United States. The Internship Program is unpaid, but interns may receive credit from their academic institution. Applicants must have completed two semesters of undergraduate study and currently be enrolled in a degree-seeking college program. Law students are not eligible for the internship. Interns work eight-hour days, five days per week, although some offices may accept interns who can only work part time but at least four days per week.

Superior Court of California County of Los Angeles Internship Programs is an opportunity for law students to gain first-hand knowledge and earn course credit through voluntary service to the Superior Court of California. Internships are offered in several areas of law. Working within the Court creates opportunities for networking, enhances a resume, and provides possible job leads and knowledge of the judicial process. Interns may choose to work in areas that include Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) to assist Juvenile Court Judges in Dependency cases; Court Operation Support Internship (COSI) program that offers students hands-on experience in Court administration and Court operations; or the Domestic Violence Project.

American Bar Association Judicial Intern Program

American Bar Association Judicial Intern Program is open to students who are members of racial and ethnic groups that are traditionally underrepresented in the law profession. Minorities as well as students with disabilities, students who are economically disadvantaged, women, and students who identify themselves as LGBT are encouraged to apply. The program is open to first- and second-year law students; applications for first-year law students will be considered first, followed by applications from first-year law students. The program is a full-time (32 hours per week), six-week minimum, summer internship program.

NABJ Internships

NABJ Internships are offered by The National Association of Black Journalists to black students pursuing careers in journalism. Internships are offered to qualified students in print, broadcast or online disciplines at selected news organizations around the country. Internships occur during the summer and last 10 weeks. Selected students may work at any one of several news organizations, from small black-owned weekly newspapers to major market dailies and broadcast outlets. They may be assigned to newspapers, television and radio stations and online news services. Interns will gain valuable experience in hands-on reporting, editing, shooting and design experience in professional work settings.
