Cleveland Museum of Art PAID Internships are open to college students currently enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program and have significant coursework in studio art, design, or art education. This is a paid, year-long fellowship at the Cleveland Museum of Art.

Interns will work from July to the following May. They will be assigned as mentors to teens participating in programs at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Interns will work in the Department of Education and Academic Affairs where they will create programming and experiences in art for high school students.

Candidates must be flexible and able to adapt to a variety of situations. They must also be able to work independently and have excellent interpersonal skills and a positive, enthusiastic attitude. To apply, students may submit a 500-word letter of intent, along with their resume, a description of their coursework, a writing sample, and two letters of recommendation.

The Cleveland Museum of Art opened in 1913 and is one of the most visited art museums in the world. The museum is known around the world for its substantial Asian and Egyptian art collections. Their permanent collections include more than 45,000 works of art from around the world.

The location is usually in OHIO.
