NYC Summer Internship Program is open to undergraduate and graduate students who are currently enrolled in a college or university. Several internship opportunities are available from May through September; each internship is about 13 weeks.

Some internships include pay while others may be volunteer only. The program has many housing options available that offer safe and affordable housing. Internships are with the city of New York government and offer professional work experiences for students and the opportunity to make important contributions to the City.

Many different city agencies participate in the internship program, offering internships that range from marketing to human resources, to real estate, special projects, logistics and much, much more. Applicants may search and apply for an internship online by completing and returning an application, along with a cover letter and resume, to the hiring agency.

The NYC Summer Internship Program offers challenging work experiences for college students every summer. Internships are offered in all areas of municipal government, including but not limited to education, media, health services, budget administration, information technology and housing.

The location is usually in NEW YORK.
