Ameren Internships offer full-time employment and on-the-job work experience during the summer. It is open to college students enrolled in a related degree program. Internships are paid.

Internships are offered in many different areas, including information technology, engineering, computer science, finance and more. Applicants must be current students with at least 60 college credit hours completed. They must be pursuing a Bachelors or Masters in IT Management, Computer Science, Project Management, an IT related field, or equivalent from an accredited college or university. A GPA of 3.0 or above is preferred.

Interns will be given challenging projects and receive real-life experience in their field of interest. They will be guided and mentored by experienced company professionals.

Ameren Corporation was formed in 1997 by the merger of Missouri's Union Electric Company and Central Illinois Public Service Company Inc. The company is based in St. Louis, Missouri, serving 2.4 million electric, and 900,000 natural gas customers.
