UN Information Center Internships

UN Information Center Internships
UN Information Center Internships are open to college students in the summer, fall and spring semesters. Preference is given to students in their senior year of college or graduate school, whose major is in international relations, political science, communications or related field.

Applicants must have excellent language, research and writing skills. They must also have demonstrated knowledge of the United Nations system, the U.S. Government, Washington think tanks and media.

This is a highly competitive internship. Interns will attend Capitol Hill hearings, represent the office at Washington events, and assist with UN events, outreach and public inquiries. They will also have the opportunity to assist with visits of UN officials and conduct research for UN staff and projects.

The UN Information Center is in the United Nations office in Washington, D.C. The center is responsible for dispersing UN news and information and serves as a resource for United States government officials, NGOs, civil-society organizations and the American people.
