Cleveland Clinic Student Experience offers undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fields of medicine, pharmacy, biomedical research, and more in a clinical setting. Students will also be able to explore career options.

Internships are a minimum of one quarter, a semester or a summer term. They can be paid or unpaid. Internships are offered within various departments or institutes at the Cleveland Clinic.

Interested students may apply online by submitting an updated resume along with relevant coursework and grades. Letters of reference from professors may also be required. Other internship requirements may vary, as well as work schedules. Pharmacy internships, for example, are available year-round with a 12-week summer component and a weekend commitment at least every six weekends throughout the academic year.

The Cleveland Clinic is an Ohio nonprofit corporation established in 1921 by four physicians. It includes a renowned multispecialty academic medical center in Cleveland, Ohio as well as affiliated facilities in Ohio, Florida, Nevada, Canada and Abu Dhabi. In 2005, CCF was the second-largest private medical group practice in the U.S. Cleveland Clinic is nationally recognized for its technological and management systems and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
