JCPenney Internships are open to college juniors and seniors interested in learning more about the world of retail. The 10-week program is offered each summer at various locations.

Interns receive academic credit for their internship. Students with a grade point average of 3.0 or above and a passion for retail are invited to apply. Candidates must be enrolled full-time at an accredited four-year college or university.



Interns who complete the internship program may also have an opportunity to join the company's training program after graduation. Leadership training programs offer full-time opportunities for a career in retail.

JCPenney is a chain of mid-range department stores that total 1,060 department stores located in every state but Hawaii, and also in Puerto Rico. The company was founded in 1902 and is headquartered in Plano, Texas.
