Bates White Summer Consultant Program is a paid summer internship program for college seniors who want to pursue a career in consulting. The program is designed to help students develop the skills needed to become a Bates White Consultant.

This is a 10-week, intense paid internship program. Interns accepted into the program will work side-by-side with experienced professionals and also have interaction with senior-level staff. Interns will be assigned both a sponsor and a coach to provide ongoing mentoring and guidance throughout the internship. Interns who complete the program will be evaluated for a full-time position after graduation.


A total of 10-15 students are hired each year to join Bates White as consultants. The Bates White Summer Consultant Program has been ranked #1 by Vault Magazine as the best summer intern program, based on a survey of more than 5,800 interns at 100 internship programs.

Bates White is a privately held economic consulting firm offering services to law firms, Fortune 500 companies, and government agencies. The company was founded in 1999 and is based in Washington, D.C. They specialize in advanced economic, financial, and econometric analysis.
