MTV Networks and Viacom Corporate Internship Program is open to college juniors and seniors as well as graduate and law students. The paid internships are available across a diverse selection of disciplines.

The internships are held in New York City during the summer for 10 weeks. Students work at least two days per week from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Internships are also available during the spring and fall. Some of the company departments that offer internships include animation, business, communications, creative services, editorial, finance, technology, marketing, human resources, graphic design, and web/digital/media.


Internships are also available, depending on the department, in Chicago, Illinois; Burbank, Glendale and Santa Monica, California; Miami, Florida; and Nashville, Tennessee. Students accepted into internship programs will work on projects for MTV, MTV2, mtvU, VH1, Nickelodeon, Nick at Nite, TV Land, Comedy Central, Spike, CMT, and other divisions. The program is very competitive and accepts students with the highest skill levels.

Viacom is one of the biggest entertainment media companies in the world. Their programming includes TV, music, movies, animated programs for children, and games.
