Internships offer pay and help students gain on-the-job experience and are offered at various locations and positions throughout FirstEnergy. Most internships require a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or above; engineering majors require a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA. All applicants must be pursuing a degree and be currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited university/college. They must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

The 10-week program gives students a hands-on, challenging work experience in retail. Gap Inc. internship opportunities are offered in the areas of corporate real estate, finance, graphic design, human resources, information technology, loss prevention, marketing, merchandising and product development. The internship runs from the middle of June until late August. Interns will benefit through projects, group discussions with Gap Inc.’s executive leaders, panel discussions and volunteer and social events with other interns and employees.

Interns will work full-time during their internship from June - August.
