Alcoa Internships are offered to college students in the areas of finance and accounting, engineering, environment, health and safety, supply chain and more. Interns gain real-world experience within a large corporation, apply their classroom knowledge and are paid for their work.

Interns work on important projects and are contributing team members. They will learn leadership, problem-solving and communication skills as well as build important networking contacts. Many interns are offered full-time positions after graduating from college.


Internships are available at locations across the country. Eligible students may speak with company representatives at college recruiting events, or search and apply for internships online. Students must be sophomores currently enrolled in an accredited college or university. They must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above.

Alcoa Inc. is the world's third largest producer of aluminum. They were founded in 1888 and are headquartered in New York City. The company has operations in 31 countries.
