The Emmis Communications Internship Program offers professional work experience internships to college students throughout the year. Eligible students must be currently attending an accredited institution of higher education.

Internships are available in many areas, including but not limited to: publishing, digital media, creative services, editorial, marketing, public relations, promotions and events, and more. Opportunities are offered at many of the Emmis Communications sites. Work is for college credit only, and work schedules are flexible to accommodate students' class schedules.


Opportunities may be available at either Emmis radio stations or publishing locations throughout the U.S. Interested students may search and apply for internships online, using the specific contact information provided for each internship.

Emmis Communications is the 9th largest radio group in the U.S. and earned the position as the Most Respected Radio Company by industry CEOs. The company was founded in 1979 and is headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana. Emmis owns radio stations and magazines throughout the U.S.
