Students must be in their junior or senior year of college in order to apply. Students need to have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. Some positions may require the completion of courses before applying. Internships are available in the areas of business, finance, engineering, marketing, information technology, human resources, software, and more. Most positions begin in May or June each year.

SuperValue Pharmacy Internships offer a full-time summer internship program for pharmacy students. The internship is designed to give pharmacy students an opportunity to implement their classroom learning in a retail pharmacy setting. Interns will be able to develop their clinical skills with the help of a preceptor who will mentor them throughout their internship program. Interns will be given challenging projects and responsibilities that extend the educational concepts and skills learned in pharmacy school.

Summer internships are offered in the areas of nursing, law, technology, marketing and communications, quality and process improvement, supply chain, human resources, information services, and finance. Students must have a grade point average of 3.0 or above to apply; some internships may require a higher minimum GPA.
