Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies Internship

Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies Internship and Jobs
Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies Internship is for undergraduate students interested in learning more about American politics and public policy. The program is held for eight weeks during the summer in Washington, D.C.

This is a paid internship opportunity for qualifying students to learn and work within a government agency. Agencies can include The White House, House of Representatives, Senate, Department of Justice, Supreme Court, Department of Veterans Affairs, or the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The program includes a stipend and free round-trip airline transportation.

Summer interns will not only learn more about the U.S. government, federal agencies and non-profit organizations, but they will also gain exposure to leadership events and have opportunities to form important relationships that will enhance their interest in public policy.

The Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies (APAICS) is a non-profit organization devoted to increasing the involvement of Asian Pacific Americans in American politics. The internship aids in developing interest among Asian Pacific Americans to pursue careers and public office at the local, state, and federal levels of government.
