VIBE.com Internships

VIBE.com Internships are offered to college students with an interest in the music industry. Ideal candidates include people who have a strong interest and knowledge of hip-hop, R&B and dance music.

Positions are available in television production and editing, editorial, marketing, graphic design, social media, and more. Internships are for academic credit. Interns work 2-3 days a week for about 20 hours a week.


Eligible students should be familiar with the artists covered on VIBE.com and have a strong interest in hip-hop, R&B and dance music. They may apply online by completing an application and submitting a resume, cover letter and work samples as related to the position. VIBE.com is the online version of the music and entertainment magazine founded by producer Quincy Jones. The publication features R&B and hip-hop music artists, actors and other entertainers.

Internships are offered by SpinMedia, a Los Angeles company with a network of pop culture and music websites such as Buzznet, Idolator, Vibe and Stereogum.y. The company was established in 1999 and was formerly known as Buzznet and Buzz Media.
