NASA Goddard Internships
Internships take place at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland. High school students may apply for The Goddard Space Flight Center High School Summer Intern Program. The program teaches students how to apply their knowledge of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in a work environment that focuses on research in Earth- and space-systems science.
Eligible high school students must have a knowledge of computer applications. They must be at least 16 years old, U.S. citizens, and have a grade point average of 3.0 or above. High school students who participate in internships will have opportunities to apply for internships in college that will help them pursue career options and prepare for careers in science, engineering and technology, or with NASA.
NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center was established in 1959 as NASA's first space flight complex. It is where scientists, engineers and technologists build spacecraft, instruments and new technology for NASA space exploration.
The location is usually in MARYLAND.
